TISC Holds Virtual Parents’ and Students’ Orientation
July 19, 2021
JULY 17 – TISC held its 2nd Virtual Parents’ and Students’ Orientation via Zoom.
The orientation was grouped into six: Lower School’s CECL, Grades 1 and 2; Upper School’s Grades 3 and 4, Grades 5 and 6; and High School’s Grade 7 and New Students, and Grades 8 to 10.
The topics for this year’s orientation for Lower and Upper Schools included Online Delivery Learning or ODL, the learning modalities, Students’ Roles, Parents’ Roles, Rules and Regulations, Assessment, Awards, Schedules, Learning Management Systems, and extra-curricular activities.
The High School orientation on the other hand focused on their two-fold goals before presenting the same topics that were mentioned above.
During face-to- face classes in the past, the school held Parents’ Orientation mostly for parents of new students, and separate sessions for new students.
This year and last school year, all parents were invited to join the virtual orientations. The overall attendance was encouraging.
